The Zanzibar RCM-Society
Zanzibar- Tanzania.
4th January, 2010.
Islam has been and forever will remain be the
Religion of Justice and Tolerance,
regardless a number of trials from
different parts and sources such as Danish
cartoonist who lit a fire by insulting Prophet
Muhammad (P.B.V.H) using caricature and
published to Danish Magazines. The event
occurred in 2005 and repeated in the year 2008
and lead to eruption of anger from Muslim
societies worldwide demonstrating against these
actions of Anti-Islam to spoil the name of
Islamic Religion.
By the end of 2009, Switzerland used what they
call it, western culture of democracy,
whatever they call it "a Vote" or
"Referendum" but was badly used to show
discrimination against Muslims and Islam as well
as against Human Right of worship and
following the spiritual faith someone chooses to
follow whether Christian, Buddha, Islam,
whichever religion he/she likes.
The act of Swiss government to stop
Muslims building the minarets is totally against
natural human rights and should be globally
condemned and call for Justice to be done
and well promoted all over the world as Islam
has the bases of Justice and tolerance.
Quran has made it clear in Surat Al-Baqrah
(256) that "Let there be No Compulsion in
Religion, Truth stands out clear from Error,
Whoever rejects evil and believes in God hath
grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold that
never breaks. And god heareth and knoweth all
things".
We were considering that Switzerland as a Nation
of Tolerance and Civilization, Political
and Religion Democracy but how could it today
prohibits her citizens from the right of
worshiping?
What if this act would have been done by any
other country of Muslim Majority? What
would be the world reaction?
Here is the question to
ask ourselves that, “Is Switzerland promoting
Democracy or Dictatorship and Discrimination in
the World?”
From this fact, and through this revolutionary
platform, on behalf of Zanzibaris, The Zanzibar
RCM-Society in Tanzania we stand together with
all freedom fighters to condemn this
discrimination act which has triggered violence,
confusion and even causing death and injuries
due to confrontations occurred in protesting
these acts of discriminations”.
We stand in solidarity with all institutions, media,
our colleagues in Revolutionary Committee's
Movement and freedom fighters, to condemn the
Swiss discrimination act banning the building of
Islamic minarets in the country.
Together we say "Yes for Human Right and Right of
worship should be respected to all". And the
word democracy should be well used and at a
right place so that the world will live in peace
and tranquility.
